Independent Local Business Growth Specialist

Growth Mailers is looking for motivated, personable sales professionals who enjoy working with small business owners and want the flexibility to build their own book of business.

As a Local Business Growth Specialist, you'll introduce local businesses to Growth Mailers and help them reach thousands of households in the communities they want to serve. You'll identify businesses that are a good fit, start genuine conversations, learn about their goals, and help them choose advertising opportunities that make sense for their business.

This isn't about high-pressure selling or sending hundreds of generic sales pitches. Our approach is personal, local, and relationship-driven.

What You'll Do

You'll research and connect with local business owners through personalized email, phone, networking, LinkedIn, and occasional in-person outreach. You'll introduce our advertising programs, answer questions, follow up with interested businesses, and help develop long-term advertiser relationships.

We provide the training, sales playbook, marketing materials, campaign samples, prospecting strategies, pricing information, and ongoing support you need to succeed.

Build More Than Your Next Sale

This is a 1099 independent contractor, commission-only opportunity offering a flexible schedule.

Representatives earn 20% of collected advertising revenue, with no cap on commissions.

More importantly, we're interested in helping our representatives build a book of repeat business.

As long as you remain an active Growth Mailers representative in good standing, you'll continue earning your full 20% commission when advertisers you originally bring to us advertise again.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for people who are self-motivated, professional, comfortable talking with business owners, and organized enough to manage their own prospecting and follow-up.

Previous experience in B2B sales, advertising, printing, direct mail, business development, marketing, or outside sales is helpful—but just as important is the ability to communicate naturally and build trust.

You don't need to be a high-pressure salesperson.

In fact, we'd prefer that you're not.
